Indications : prevention and control of coccidiosis due to various Eimerias in broilers ,replacement pullets and turkeys.
Dosage and administration:
–Broilers : 200 g vetazoril per ton of feed from day old to 5 days before slaughter.
–Replacement pullets: 200 g vetazoril per ton of feed from day old to 7days before start of laying period.
–Turkeys: 200 g vetazoril per ton of feed from day old to maximum 14 weeks .
Drug interactions: Due to the molecular similarity of this drug with toltrazuril (Bycox) and in order to prevent cross resistance , these two drugs should not to be used simultaneously in one farm.
Contraindication: Do not use in layers during laying period.
Withdrawal time:
Broilers : 5 days before slaughter .
Recommendation: For achieving uniform mixture , first mix required amount of drug with 20-50 kg of feed thoroughly , and then add it to main volume of feed and mix properly again.
Precaution:
-Keep out of reach of children.
-Wear protective clothes like gloves and masks during mix.
Precautions : Do not use vetazoril during sudden outbreaks of disease.
Storage conditions: store in dry place, below 25 c ,away from direct light and in closed door bag.
